Zoom is a video conferencing tools that is available for Saunders faculty to use.  While anyone with a valid RIT account may sign into our portal to use a basic account, only Saunders faculty will be automatically granted Pro level accountsRIT faculty, staff, adjuncts, and students.

Setting up your Zoom Account

Once signed in, you will have an account created within Zoom.  The account will be a Basic account by default and will automatically be configured to be a Pro account, if eligible, overnight.  You may contact Saunders Technical Support by emailing techsupport@saunders.rit.edu to have your account elevated right away if you need it immediately.If you are not a Saunders faculty member and require a pro Zoom account, please email Saunders Technical Support (techsupport@saunders.rit.edu) with your requestIf you are eligible (faculty, staff, students, adjuncts) your account will automatically be set to a Licensed account.

Saunders faculty, staff, students, and adjuncts may contact Saunders Technical Support for assistance.  All other groups should contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance.

Signing into the Zoom Client

Your browser will open and redirect you to the RIT login page.  From there you can sign in and select the option to Open Zoom when the notice appears.  It will then open the client signed in with your RIT Account.
