This page's main purpose is to keep projects rolling:

  1. Having actual deadlines gets the procrastinators (such as myself) a deadline to procrastinate until. Hopefully the work gets done by that date.
  2. A lack of accountability leads to significant delay. Either no takes responsibility and the task never gets done, or the person who is assigned the task does not complete it on time. Neither of these are great options, so accountability is key
  3. This is not meant to intimidate, but rather encourage a productive environment as in a real company.
  4. It is good to have a record of who was responsible for a task or decision so a new person to the project has a direct contact with the decision maker or the thinking of the original decision maker can be seen.

NOTE: Use the "Task" Confluence feature as well as "@" to assign a task to a person

NOTE: Items in this list should not be deleted, as a record is beneficial for accountability. If anything, add a strike-through and add a note in the "Comments" section for why the Action Item is no longer required.

NOTE: An Action Item / Issue may be solved with a Trade. If this is the case, make sure to link the Trade with the action item.

BOM Maker:

  •  Add 1 roll of Hatchbox PLA 3d printer filament to BOM (look up on amazon). Specify amount to be 0.5kg, so total cost will be half the cost of one roll.
11/3/202011/7/2020

Numbers Person:

  •  Read through this link to understand calculations for parachutes.
