Quick Instructions (Windows Only)
- Download the Remote Full Screen.rdp config file.
- If you have multiple monitors at home and want to use all of them, use the Multi-Monitor.rdp config file instead.
- Once downloaded, right-click on the file and select Edit.
- Be sure to save it to a location where you'll be able to find it. If it is in your Downloads folder, consider moving it to your desktop.
- For computer name, enter your office computer's hostname. You can find it by going to https://apps3.scb.rit.edu/

Once you have entered the Computer name, click on Show Options.
Click on the Advanced Tab and then Settings.
Select Use these RD Gateway server settings:

- MySupport/inventory to find your computer. Add .main.ad.rit.edu
...
Check Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses.
Check Use my RD Gateway credentials for the remote computer.
Once done, click OK.
Click back on the General tab and then Save As.
This will now prompt you to save an icon that you can later double-click on to initiate the connection. We recommend using the Save As option so you don't modify your default settings for Remote Desktop.

- to the end of the hostname. For example. If your hostname in inventory is scb-dt-1, then the computer name will be scb-dt-1.main.ad.rit.edu.
- For user name, enter MAIN\ followed by your username. MAIN\abcbbu
- Click Save
When you double-click on the icon, it should bring you to your office computer.
