What is MSDNAA?

Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA), or also known as DreamSpark, is a licensing agreement that the Saunders College of Business has with Microsoft to allow students to download copies of most Microsoft applications and operating systems for academic use.

Who has access?

MSDNAA is available for any faculty that is teaching a Management Information Systems (MIS) course or any student that is enrolled within a MIS course within the current semester.  Students that are MIS majors but not currently enrolled in an MIS course will not have access.

MIS courses are those courses that start with MGIS in the course number.

Access for students is granted after the Add/Drop period of the current semester has been completed.  Once Add/Drop has been completed, an email will be sent to the RIT email address of those students granted access with instructions on how to login and access the software.  The email will come from DreamSpark.

Access will then expire once final exams for the current semester have concluded.

Questions?

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Saunders Technical Support.
