On Lynda.com, you can access a set of video clips using the link below that will give you some basic information on how to use and navigate through the Windows 10 interface.  Login with your RIT Computer Account when prompted.

Setting Default Applications

Windows 10 will default to some applications that you may not want to use.  Here's how you change them.

Click on the gear cog in the Start Menu or search for Default App Settings.

Once you have opened the Default App Settings.  You can change them to your preference.  Email and Web Browser are the two that most users will want to change.
