The President is the head of the RIT Launch Initiative and oversees all team operations and functions. Focused on the outward-facing tasks, and keeping the team moving in the right direction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and Provide Leadership for Entire Team Operations

Maintain and safeguard the team Constitution
- Call for amendments if/when necessary
- Ensure all officers and members are progressing towards the spirit of Launch's mission and acting within the language of the constitution
Oversee leads and general meetings
Ensure general and lead meetings have agendas and content to discuss
Directly support internal leads operations
Fight for all projects on the team and the overall future goals
Ensure team moves towards the current timeline goals & actively set future goals for the team
Encourage personal certifications within the team to maintain rocketry focus
Arbitrate any disagreements within the team
Support other E-board positions when the workload is heavy

Communicate with Launch Sites

URRG, MARS
Help communicate with team advisor on team operations
- Help attract potential advisors for the teams
- Support finding internal resources for the team to use
Any team task that has no current owner, by default becomes the responsibility of the President to either complete or delegate
