Overview

The Microsoft Whiteboard is an excellent tool to use when you have a laptop that has an integrated pen.  All Saunders standard laptops have this feature.

Download/Install

Microsoft Whiteboard is a free app that is available in the Microsoft Store.  You can access via the web by going to https://app.whiteboard.microsoft.com/ or using the Microsoft App Store to install a client

In the Microsoft Store, you can select to ignore signing in to install the software.

Share Your Whiteboard

For classes, it might be helpful to share your whiteboard with your class. The easiest way would be to create a link that anyone at RIT can access with the expiration date. This way you don't have to manually add all of your students.

• Go to https://app.whiteboard.microsoft.com/ and create a new whiteboard.
• Click on Share in the upper right
• Click on the settings cog next to the Copy link button
• Select People in rit.edu
• Set an expiration date
• Click Apply
• Click Copy link

The link is now in your clipboard and can be pasted somewhere for students to access.
