Lenovo Pre Boot Hardware Diagnostics

ThinkPad X1 Yoga 6th Gen

Reboot / Turn on your computer.

Press Enter when you see the Lenovo splash screen with the text To interrupt normal startup, press Enter.

You should the receive the following menu.  Press F10 to run diagnostics.

From the Diagnostics screen, select Run All.

Select Full (Unattended).

The diagnostics should now run and may take up to 10 hours to complete.  Once done, a report of any issues found will be provided.

Try to take a high-quality image of the FINAL RESULT CODE and QR CODE to send to Tech Support for review.

ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen

Reboot / Turn on your computer.

Press Enter when you see the Lenovo splash screen with the text To interrupt normal startup, press Enter.

You should the receive the following menu.  Press F10 to run diagnostics.

From the Diagnostics screen, select Run All.

Make sure all items are checked and click Run Tests at the bottom.

The diagnostics should now run and may take up to 10 hours to complete.  Once done, a report of any issues found will be provided.

ThinkPad T430

Reboot / Turn on your computer.

Press Enter when you see the Lenovo splash screen with the text To interrupt normal startup, press Enter.

You should the receive the following menu.  Press F10 to run diagnostics.

From the Diagnostics screen, select Run All.

Use the arrow keys to highlight Extended Tests and press the space bar to check the option.  Once all options are checked, arrow down to Run Test and press enter.

The diagnostics should now run and may take up to 10 hours to complete.  Once done, a report of any issues found will be provided.

ThinkCentre Tiny M83 (Desktop)

Reboot / Turn on your computer.

Press Enter when you see the Lenovo splash screen.

You should the receive the following menu.  Press F10 to run diagnostics.

Select Run All

Make sure all three options are checked and then select Run Test

The diagnostics should now run and may take up to 10 hours to complete.  Once done, a report of any issues found will be provided.

Lenovo Windows Based Hardware Diagnostics

Search for Lenovo Commercial Vantage in your start menu.

Once open click on Hardware Scan in the upper-right corner.

You can select either Quick Scan or Customize to select those features you want to scan.
