With the release of the KB5003637 Windows Update , a new taskbar widget can be located towards the bottom right of the screen. When hovered over this widget shows various news articles, sports news and updated weather forecasts.

Remove/Re-add Weather Taskbar

1. Right click anywhere on the taskbar
2. Hover over News and interests
   
   
3. Select the Turn off option to remove the taskbar item entirely.

From this menu you can adjust how you would like the widget to appear with text included or not.

Modify Interests

The cool thing about this widget is that it allows you to personalize and choose what information gets displayed when you hover over it.

1. Hover over the widget and at the top right click the Manage interests button.

Once clicked you'll be taken to a page similar to the one pictured below:

From here you can pick in choose topics of interest you'd like to follow and be updated on. The settings will save automatically and will be begin to show the next time the widget is refreshed.
