Backplane module to acquire liquid propulsion system’s sensor data

Requirements:

• 24-bit ADC

  • External clock ADC - would be nice

• 4 sensors (live telemetry would be nice):

  • Chamber Thermocouple - K-type thermocouple

  • Tank Thermocouple - K-type thermocouple

  • Chamber Transducer - Trafag NAT 8252.XXXXXX3219XX

    • Does not need live telemetry

  • Tank Transducer - Trafag NAT 8252.XXXXXX3219XX

    • Needs live telemetry (at least on the ground)

• Local data storage at the rate of at least 10 samples per second per sensor

  • 1000SPS preferable

NOTES:

• Previously designed P21331 DAQ board has a sampling rate of 43kHz on IEPE and full bridge channels and 10Hz on Thermocouple channels

  • Thermocouple channels are limited by max temperature conversion time of MAX31855 IC of 100ms, yielding sampling rate of 10S/s
