URRG: Upstate Research Rocketry Group
Location: Torrey Farms of Potter, Penn Yan, NY
URRG is the primary launch site for the team. It has an FAA waiver up to 18,000 feet for its monthly weekend launches, and the waiver can be extended above 30,000 feet with a written request to the FAA. Launches are held in the Spring, Summer, and Fall, with a national event held in late July called URRF.
