OpenRocket is a software that allows you to design and simulate rockets

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of Java at https://www.java.com/en/download/
  2. Go to http://openrocket.info/ and hit "Download" at the top of the page
  3. Move the .jar to where you want the program to exist - like the desktop. OpenRocket requires no installation to work.

If the above process does not work, you can also install OpenRocket using an installer:

Windows

  1. Download "OpenRocket-15.03-installer.exe" from the Drive.
  2. Run the installer to install the program.

Mac

  1. Click here for the Dropbox link to download the .dmg file, use the 'Direct Download' option.
  2. Move file to applications folder.
  3. Since it is from an unidentified developer, it may take a few tries before it lets you open it up.
    Note: program may crash when switching between view options (save before changing view!).
