Testing Suggestions

  • resonance frequencies of composite plates

    • use a free FFT phone app to analyze

  • use laminar plate theory for FEA of plate composites

    • initial coarse grid analysis, then zoom in on critical points for fine grid analysis

  • do not screw composite plates together, use glue joints

    • glass beads help contribute to a uniform glue line

    • shear stressed are handled very well but peel forces are not
