---|---|
While the Constitution was written to provide the team with a stable and long term governance structure, it shall also be a living document. 4.B.2: Process of Re-ratification The team constitution shall be re-ratified each year. Yearly re-ratification shall be conducted with only the current academic year's officers. The Process of Re-ratification is identical to the Process of Ratification outlined in Section 4.B.1. |
Purpose of Amendment |
We the Launch Officers of the 2023-24 term do hereby amend the Constitution. We have decided to add this new section – 4.B.2 – in order to ensure that the spirit of this team constitution is maintained. This amendment will encourage an attitude of fluidity surrounding changes to the team's governance; one which is only necessary as the demographics and experiences of the team, and RIT as a whole, evolves. Additionally, this amendment comes with the added benefit of ensuring each group of new Officers is aware of the team's governance, along with knowing their duties and responsibilities. |
