• The payload must be deployed from the rocket.
• The payload must conform to the 3U cubesat form factor.
• The payload must be recoverable.
• The payload's location must be real-time tracked by ESRA Mission Control Center (MCC).

Primary Objective Requirement(s)

Not mission critical, but top level

• example: The payload must deploy an antenna
• there is probably only one of these and it shouldn't change

Derived Requirements

Requirements derived from MC and PO requirements

• these are likely to change a lot since this decides implementation

• the payload must speak in jims voice
