The President, Director of Competition Operations, and Director of Research and Development Operations shall henceforth be referred to as "Admin Team"2A: Statement of Compliance with University Regulations RIT Launch Initiative shall comply with all University and Kate Gleason College of Engineering policies and regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws. |
| Purpose of Amendment |
| The purpose of this amendment is to reorganize the structure and responsibilities of the Admin Team as the club expands, both in terms of members and the scope and number of projects. With the number of members on each subteam, the rise and progression of both propulsion subteams, and the recent addition of the High Altitude Balloon subteam, it has become necessary to split the workload of Director of Operations into two positions. Both of these new positions would serve as members of the Admin Team, and the responsibility will be split as follows: Director of Competition Operations will be in charge of both IREC and Space Race, while the Director of Research and Development Operations will be in charge of Solid Propulsion, Liquid Propulsion, Avionics, and High Altitude Balloon. Both positions will preform all of the actions as the current Director of Operations for their respective subteams. To offset the loss of the Vice President position, the President will become responsible for the duties of both positions and use the Secretary to help where needed. Finally, scheduling club events such as Game Nights or other team bonding activities will fall to the Director of Public Relationsremove a clause that details we must abide by the Center for Campus Life (CCL) policies for clubs. As a non-CCL club, we do not need to strictly abide by CCL policies and much of this document directly contradicts said policies. Removing this clause removes contradictions in RIT Launch Initiative's most important document. |
