- Works with Project project lead to target specific companies related to the projects at hand. hand
- Projects Project lead provides technical knowledge and can specify equipment and resources needed,
- Work directly with designated project team members
- Director of sponsorship Sponsorship communicates/convinces the company to sponsor project/team
- For sponsorships that are developed with a Projects specific project lead, that sponsorship's resources is are strictly allocated to that project
- Director of Sponsorship works with treasurer Treasurer to get sponsorship into account/register properly
- Treasurer makes sure sponsorship goes directly back to the project team
Secure funding for the team:
Work in collaboration with University Advancement office
Work with the
Treasurer to support the team’s financial requirements
- Ensure companies who sponsor RIT Launch receive the benefits specified in our most recent
- sponsorship packet
- Maintain/update sponsorship packet annually
- Keep an organized and easily accessible list of current sponsors & corporate partners
- Update this wiki page as you learn more about how to do this position better
- Lead and organize meetings with potential sponsors
- prepare slides for the meeting (either generic sponsor slides or tailored towards the company)
- decide who needs to be present for the meeting
- prepare proposal for funding (do some research)
- reoccurring donations
- facilities use
- special manufacturing
- how much we have in funding now and what we need to close the gap
- present sponsor benefits
- refer to tier list
Requirements:
Email-writing and communications skills
- Must have been on Launch Initiative for at least 2 semesters
- This is an elected position
