Classroom Podiums

Traditional Classroom Podiums

To turn the projector on/off use the display ON/OFF buttons.

Please note, when turning the projector on using the 'ON' button it can take up to a minute for the projector to warm up and turn on.

Auto Image -This buttons helps in calibrating an image on the projector (size, position, etc.). This button can help in centering an image.

Closed Caption ON/OFF - This button will turn the captioning on or off

Black Screen - This button will display a black screen on the projector (This can be used when, for example, you don't want what you're doing on your laptop to be displayed to the projector).

1. Laptop - This button allows you to use your laptop as the input for the projector (you will need to plug the VGA cable into your laptop).

2. DVD - This buttons uses the DVD player as the input for the projector.

3. VCR - This buttons uses the VCR as the input for the projector (there is a DVD and VCR control panel to the right of the VCR and DVD buttons)

4. DOC CAM - This button allows a document camera to be used as the input for the projector.

5. AUX Video - This buttons allows you to use an external video source as the input for the projector.

6. PC - This button allows you to use the PC at the podium as the input for the projector (Note: not all classrooms have a PC at the podium).

When you are done using the projector please turn the display off.

LOW-1135 Instructions

To use the projector you will need podium access (please see below for instruction). After swiping your ID through the card reader the screen should turn on/allow you to use the projector. This is the initial screen you will see and from there you can select a source (Laptop, DVD, VCR, Aux Video, Doc Cam, or Blank Image). Please note the right hand side which allows you to adjust the volume/mute the source and microphone. The screen buttons up/down on the bottom left hand side will allow you to put the projector screen up or down (the screen will also go up once you swipe out of the podium or select 'System Off' on the upper right hand side)

 


Select a source -> Laptop



Select a source -> DVD



Select a source -> VCR



Select a source -> Aux Video



Select a Source -> Doc Cam



Select a Source -> Blank Image (This can be used when, for example, you don't want what you're doing on your laptop to be displayed to the projector)
