Faculty and staff may use Office 365 to install the Office apps on their personal devices. 

Installing Office 365 on a home computer

Windows

Go to https://office.com/

Click Sign in

Enter your RIT username followed by @rit.edu for the email address.  Example: abcbbu@rit.edu

Select Work or school account to sign in.

Enter your RIT Computer Account password and click Sign In

Accept the DUO push

Once signed in, click on Home and then Install Office to download the setup program.

Select Office 365 apps option

Once downloaded, run the installer.

Once installed, you will be able to sign into any of the apps using your RIT Computer Account username followed by @rit.edu.  Example: abcbbu@rit.edu
