Planning Checklist
- Fill out BOM with items already owned
- Look over and revise checklist for this launch specifically
- Identify whose available to transport the helium (Mary has access to truck with advanced notice)
- Design runcam module Dean O'Brien (RIT Student) Jonathan Godfrey (RIT Student)
- Hold meeting to:
- Determine recovery method (Use sonde parachute or our own solution)
- Determine the order of payloads on line
- Familiarize members with part 101
- Explain the launching procedure to members, what was learned from blindspot, and take suggestions on changes
- Identify & assign other action items for first launch
- Expand planning checklist
Line order
Balloon: Is a kaymont 600g balloon
Parachute: Normal sonde parachute reinforced
THE Sphere: A foam sphere trying out if it works for recovery
Sonde: A reprogrammed sonde freq: TBD, protocol: HORUSV2
Runcam module: Deans little module for the camera, don't know what direction to point it yet
Radar: A retro reflective disc that may or may not be included, the call will be made a day or 2 before launch
