The software the avionics team supports can be broken up into flight, ground, and tools software.

Flight Software (Deprecated) - the software that runs on the embedded flight computers built by the hardware team.

Ground Software - software that operates on the ground system before, during, and after flight.

Tools Software (Deprecated) - software that supports various other functions of the team.
