Printing to LOW-A333 Copier
To print to the copier in 12-A333, start by selecting \\svcobslimer\a333copier from your list of printers.
Once selected, click on the Properties button.
Each printout requires you to enter your Copier Code. To do this, click on the Other tab and enter your Copier Code under the Department section of the print dialog. Without this, your job will show up in the Invalid print queue on the copier. Your print job is now ready to be sent to the copier.
If you are printing a confidential document and do not want someone to accidentally grab your printout, you can supply a password that will be needed to enter into the copier to retrieve it. To set this password, set the Print Job to Private Print. Then when you submit the job, you will be prompted to enter a password. The password you enter is what you will need to retrieve your job at the copier, so make sure it is something simple that you can remember. This password is for this print job only. Each time you create a private print job, you will need to create a password.
Your job will be under the Private job queue on the copier.
Don't forget to enter your Copier Code, otherwise your job will end up in the Invalid queue on the copier.
To retrieve your job at the copier, see the instructions in the copier room.

Scan
Scan to H: Drive using LOW-A333 Copier
Start by inserting your document into the document feeder.
Then tap the Scan to H Drive button.
The scanner will then read in your document and scan it. Wait for the preview to appear and then tap Next.
You will then be prompted for your username and password. The username works a bit different from what we are normally a custom too. You must find your user in the Global Address List (GAL).
Start by typing your first name as it appears in the GAL. You will see an auto-complete appear with your name. Once you have found it, make sure it is selected and press the Tab key on the keyboard.
Enter your RIT password and tap Next.
Tap Send to upload the file to H:\Projects and Miscellaneous\Miscellaneous\Scanners\Uploads. You will be the only person able to open the file once uploaded to the default folder.
If you are working on a project that requires additional people to access the files, you will either need to copy it to a new location on the H: Drive or you can request a special folder to be setup where all uploads are granted access to those users you specify. Just email Saunders Technical Support with the details.
Make sure you copy the any uploaded files to a new location on the H: drive rather than moving it. Moving the file will result in the permissions on the file moving with it. This means that you will be the only person that can view the file.
It is recommended that you copy the file to its new location and delete the original.
