SR2021 Team Omega Action Items

• • For those in Structures and Avionics, (but not limited to!) start developing initial OpenRocket models.

• Brainstorm potential airbrake designs

• 360 Camera Research

• Reaction Wheel Research

• Avionics: Look into AV boards that might be capable of apogee detection, charge deployment, and servo/worm gear/etc operation for airbrakes and glider

Everyone:

• Sign in to the wiki using your RIT email.

Modeling/Simulation:

• Produce a finalized OpenRocket model, submit to James ASAP, goal is to have model reviewed and finalized by Saturday.

Avionics:

• Decide whether or not doing the collaborative board with the Avionics team is worth pursuing (highly recommend it!)

CAD Designer:

• 1. Design the body tube in this link.
• 2. Design 1/4" bulkheads.
• 3. Design coupler tubes from this link.

Website/Media Designer:

• Add current team member list to website page.

Presentation Designer:

• Create skeleton CDR slides (literally just copying PDR over and renaming to CDR will work for now)

BOM Maker:

• Add 1 roll of Hatchbox PLA 3d printer filament to BOM (look up on amazon). Specify amount to be 0.5kg, so total cost will be half the cost of one roll.

Numbers Person:

• Read through this link to understand calculations for parachutes.
