The Director of Sponsorship is responsible for coordinating team communications with corporate partners and project leads, primarily for the purpose of securing sponsorship and co-ops for members.

- Alumni relations
- Works with project lead to target specific companies related to the projects at hand
- Project lead provides technical knowledge and can specify equipment and resources needed
- Director of Sponsorship communicates/convinces the company to sponsor project/team
- For sponsorships that are developed with a specific project lead, that sponsorship's resources are strictly allocated to that project
- Director of Sponsorship works with Treasurer to get sponsorship into account/register properly
- Treasurer makes sure sponsorship goes directly back to the project team
Secure funding for the team:
Work in collaboration with University Advancement office
Work with the Treasurer to support the team’s financial requirements
- Ensure companies who sponsor RIT Launch receive the benefits specified in our most recent sponsorship packet
- Maintain/update sponsorship packet annually
- Keep an organized and easily accessible list of current sponsors & corporate partners

Requirements:
Email-writing and communications skills
- Must have been on Launch Initiative for at least 2 semesters
- This is an elected position
