iOS Devices

  1. Download the Outlook app from the App Store.
  2. Once downloaded, open the app. You will see a screen that says "Add Account" like the image below:

    Note: You you may see a page that says "Account Found", tap Skip if this appears.
  3. When prompted for an e-mail email address, enter your Saunders e-mail email address (either @saunders.rit.edu or @rit.edu works)
  4. On the Exchange page, enter your RIT password. Optionally, add a description if you plan to use Outlook for multiple accounts, such as a personal e-mail.
  5. Tap on Use Advanced Settings, and make these changes:
    1. Make sure mymail.ad.rit.edu is listed as the Server.
    2. Under domain, enter "MAIN".
    3. Under username, enter your RIT username (i.e. abcbbu). This field may be already populated by your e-mail, but that will not work.

  6. Tap on Sign In. 
  7. If successful, you will initially see a page asking you if you want to add another account. Tap "Maybe Later".
  8. Your e-mail RIT email account should now be set up. Please note that it may take a few minutes for your e-mail email and calendar to populate.
