This guide will help you set up your RIT MyMail E-mail Exchange account on the Outlook app on Android and iOS mobile devices.

Android Devices
Download the Outlook app from the Google Play Store. You can also search "Outlook" in the store on your phone.
Upon opening the app for the first time, you will be prompted to add an e-mail account.

button under settings.

When prompted to select an account type, select

1) Select the "Add account" button under settings.
2) Your will be prompted for the type of account, select "Email account" (the option for Outlook, Exchange, gmail, etc).
3) Enter your Saunders email.
4) For the server, enter: mymail.ad.rit.edu
5) For Domain\Username enter: MAIN\username where "username" is your RIT username. See below for a screenshot example.
Note: You must use a back-slash, not a forward-slash, or it will not work. To find the backslash on an Android keyboard, you must go to the second page of the symbol keyboard. To get to the second page of the symbol keyboard, press the "!#1" key at the bottom left, then press the "2/2" key at the near bottom left above the "ABC" key.
6) Enter your RIT password.
7) Enter a description. This is optional and is there to help you navigate the Outlook app if you add more email accounts later.
8) Tap the check mark in the top-right corner. You are done!

Enter your RIT Computer Account Username followed by @rit.edu and tap Continue. Example: abcbbu@rit.edu
You will then be prompted for your RIT Computer Account password and go through DUO. Once done, you should be all set.
iOS Devices
Download the Outlook app from the App Store.
Once downloaded, open the app. You will see a screen that says "Add Account" like the image below

You will then be prompted for your RIT Computer Account password and go through DUO. Once done, you should be all set.
