Overview

Slack is a collaboration tool that can be used for one-to-one or one-to-many instant messaging.

Accessing Slack

Web Browser

To access EMBA Slack via the web, simply visit https://rit-emba.slack.com/, click Sign in with RIT, and enter your RIT username and password.

Slack App on Your Computer

Start by downloading and installing the Slack App from https://slack.com/downloads.  Once installed open the App on your computer.  Then open a web browser and access Slack via the web (See instructions above).  Once signed in on the web browser, click on Executive MBA along the top and then Open the Slack App.  This will automatically configure the Slack App on your computer.

Slack App on Your Mobile Device (phone / tablet)

Start by searching the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Play Store (Android) for Slack.  Install the app onto your mobile device.  Once installed open the App on your mobile device.  Then open a web browser and access Slack via the web (See instructions above).  Once signed in on the web browser, tap on Open Slack.  This will automatically configure the Slack App on your mobile device.
