Audio Controls
Listening to the Subject Room
Each subject room (LOW-3055 and LOW-3059) has microphones in them that enable the person in the control room to hear the subjects. You can either use the control room rack speakers or the control room headphones to listen in.
Control Room Rack Speakers
For the rack speakers, use the volume dial to increase/decrease the volume. Do not touch the Output or Input buttons.
Control Room Headphones
The rack can support up to four headphones. Plug in the headphones to the jack you want and use the volume dial to increase/decrease the volume.
Control Room Microphone
If you wish to talk to the subjects in their room, press and hold the Push button the microphone to speak to them from the control room. When you do press the Push button, the microphones in the subject room are muted to avoid feedback. This means you cannot hear the subjects in the room when you are speaking to them.
Recording Video
In order for you to use the space to record, you need a USB Drive or external Hard Drive that is formatted with FAT32. The maximum capacity is 2TB for FAT32 drives.
In order to record, you must have a USB or External Hard Drive plugged into the USB port to the left of controls.
Once the drive has been connected, use the record button to start the recording. You can also pause and stop the recording.
The MARK button will add chapter breaks into the file for you while recording.
The digital display above the buttons will tell you how much time you have left on the recording. A 32GB USB drive should be able hold over 40 hours of recording.
Make sure you stop the recording before removing the USB drive.
