Amendment 1

Ratified:

Preliminary Statement (DO NOT ERASE)

While the Constitution was written to provide the team with a stable and long term governance structure, it shall also be a living document. The word/operating structure/experiences of Launch officers in 2022 may not be applicable to those in the future and, as such, the Constitution must be amended to reflect the team that it so governs.

Purpose of Amendment

We the Officers of Launch Initiative for the 2022-2023 term do hereby amend the Constitution. We have decided to delete section 6.E: Quorum under Article 6 for the purposes of efficient and timely transfer of information and updates between the Officers. While Quorum is a good idea on paper, Launch Initiative is ultimately a volunteer organization and absolutely perfect attendance of enough leads to begin meetings is not always guaranteed. While this section of the Constitution was in effect, Leads Meetings were delayed by ten, fifteen, even twenty minutes, causing the Officers present to rush through information
