The Denton Desk II Sputter Coater is a table top sputter system designed for coating SEM samples with a gold film
It is not for anything other than depositing very thin films of gold on SEM samples.
The system has a small round platen that the samples rest on. It can accommodate many types of substrates provided that they are not much larger than 2" in diameter.
